My name is Jennifer Kuhn.  I am originally from Alexandria, Virginia, where I taught in the Fairfax County Public Schools.  I have been teaching for 13 years.  My first two years teaching, I taught 8th grade Gifted and Talented Civics and Civics (American Government).  My third year, I also taught 8th grade English as well as GT Civics, and Civics.  Then I moved to the high school level, where I taught 9th and 11th grade English Honors.

My husband and I moved to Sarasota, Florida in January 2001.  I taught English I, English III, and English III Honors in Manatee County from January 2001 to May 2004.  Then, in August 2004, I accepted a position in Sarasota County at Venice High School, home of the Inidans, teaching English I in the Cornerstone Program.  I feel I have come home here at Venice High and I am looking forward to many more happy years teaching in this exceptional community.
