Philosophy
Young children learn through experiencing their environment, social interactions with others, physical movement, and a variety of play opportunities. The CYESIS Program offers a nurturing child care center that follows developmentally appropriate practices. This inclusive classroom model focuses on the needs of the child.
The 14 child care centers are staffed with Child Development Associates or caregivers with Associate Degrees. We view our program as a role model for continuity of care. As the child grows the caregiver moves with the child to their age appropriate center.

Curriculum Goals
The curriculum goals for all children in our care include:

• Children will recognize family members, friends, and caregivers in their environment.
• Children will develop thinking skills and communication skills appropriate for their ages.
• Children will achieve developmental milestones in areas of motor development.
• Children will become familiar with daily routines.
• Children will use tools (toys, eating utensils, art materials, etc.) appropriately.
• Children will learn to express feelings appropriately.
